Grabowski - A native San Diegan, Captain John
Grabowski is a 30 year veteran on San Diego’s
waterfront and one of the most respected and widely
known sport fishing skippers in the business. His
knowledge of saltwater fishing in general and
long-range fishing in particular are unexcelled. In
addition to serving as the relief skipper for the
Red Rooster III, Grabowski’s saltwater
fishing seminars are much anticipated and routinely
draw standing room only crowds at fishing shows up
and down the west coast. Is there is a single word
that describes John Grabowski‘s approach to
fishing and willingness to share his knowledge with
others, it is passionate. His previous radio
experience includes five years as co-host of The
Fishing Line on KFMB. |

Zieralski - After arm problems cut short a
promising pitching career in the Los Angeles Dodgers
farm system, Johnstown, Pennsylvania native Ed
Zieralski migrated west as a young man to major
in Journalism at San Diego State University. An
award-winning career as a sportswriter who covered
virtually every beat in college and professional
sports soon followed. In 1992, Zieralski
settled in as the outdoors writer for the San Diego
Union-Tribune where his writing has resulted in
numerous awards from the Outdoor Writers Association
of California (OWAC) as well as the Outdoor Writers
Association of America (OWAA). Whether writing about
fishing and hunting or experiencing it first hand,
Ed Zieralski’s approach is one of unmatched
enthusiasm. |

Gabriela Grabowski - Office Manager
Gabriela Grabowski was a successful young
business owner in Guadalajara, Mexico when she met
the young American fishing boat captain who would
later become her husband. In addition to handling an
endless array of tasks as our Office Manager,
Gabriela is the co-owner and President of
Aztecas Designs, the world’s largest distributor
of hand blown glassware from Mexico.
